If there is something that is reminiscent of Christmas and late autumn, it is undoubtedly nuts, chestnuts and red sweet potatoes. Sweet potatoes (sweet potatoes) are sweet, creamy, and have a very characteristic smell when they are roasting. They are easy to prepare, and have multiple possibilities: baked, in cream, in desserts, purees ... They provide many benefits and are easy to digest.

Here you have a rich christmas cream with two main ingredients: red sweet potato and chestnuts. This time the sweet potato is roasted first, but you can put it cooked together with the other ingredients or steamed. And chestnuts are used directly in puree. I hope you like it.   • 1 onion
  • 1 piece of leek
  • 3 red sweet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons of chestnut puree
  • Olive oil
  • Sea salt
  • Water

1. We wash our hands, prepare our ingredients and utensils, as simple as a peeler, a knife and a casserole.

2. Chop the onion and leek and brown it over low heat in our casserole with a drizzle of olive oil.

3. Previously we will have the roasted sweet potatoes in the oven at 180º 20-30 minutes. We can roast them the night before, or that same day.

4. Add a pinch of salt and while it continues to fry, peel and cut the sweet potatoes and prepare the chestnut puree.

5. Add the sweet potato, the chestnut puree, cover with the water and a pinch of salt.

6. Cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes and ready to grind.

7. With the help of a food processor we will grind well and it will be ready to drink.

8. This time I have put to accompany and decorate a little toasted sesame.
