There are two genetic tests you can consider

You don't have to worry about life because you lose a lot of it, but under certain circumstances it is worthwhile to have a genetic test for breast cancer and thrombosis factor.

Examination of frequent mutations in BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes is among the most expensive. Anyone with such a defect may be more likely to develop breast or ovarian cancer than others. "Then would all women still have the basic interest in passing this exam?" - We made the request to our specialist.
- No, by no means! Just over a hundred percent of all cases of breast cancer are rare, but only a few percent can be associated with the mutation of either of these two genes. This means that if the test is negative, the patient will still have a slight chance that mutation in other, untested gene sequences will cause the family to move, and there will be a risk of about 10% for each woman. It is extremely dangerous if the patient is so reassured by the negative result that he / she does not require regular memory. And a positive result means that the person has a 60-80 percent chance of developing a breast. This is undoubtedly a warning that can be life-saving, as if mutations are found, they must be dealt with, for example, with much more frequent screening. Current practice is to recommend screening for mutation in the BRCA gene if there is evidence of this in the family history or in the personal history. These include cases where the patient has bilateral breast cancer, has multiple tumors, has developed forty years, has had ovarian cancer, and has had malignant malignancies. And, of course, even if one of the relatives has been shown to have BRCA1 or 2 mutations.
Warns of the risk of thrombosis
Thrombosis is said to occur when there is a blood somewhere in the coat, which blocks the flow of blood and can lead to serious events. Depending on which part of our body comes into play and how quickly we can act on the cause, it can be fatal. Post-operative, during pregnancy, the risk for women of childbearing is increased - but not the same for everyone. It has been found that thrombosis can be influenced by a variety of gene mutations, most commonly the so-called L-factor V mutation. The knowledge of genetic factors suggesting an increased risk of developing thrombotic thrombosis is important because we have drugs that can prevent the occurrence of hemorrhoids.
- Testing for the Leiden mutation in Factor V is very straightforward for all patients for whom family history suggests an increased risk. For example, if you have someone who is 55 years old, has had a thrombosis in the foot, or if you have an unusual spot (not in the foot), or have another screening test (APC). If you have ever had such a thing in the family, and in having a baby, having a larger operation, or taking a birth control pill for the first time, there is one more line to look at. We also have two other mutation tests for thrombosis, but these are far less common. According to some studies, one of the mutations may also be present in the recurrent miscarriage, especially if all members of the pairing chromosome carry a defective gene. A rare but serious fetal developmental disorder, the occurrence of open spine and cerebral cranial deficiency, cerebrovascular disease, and severe thrombosis may be associated with elevated blood homocysteine levels. However, carriers of this predisposing mutation can reduce blood homocysteine levels, and thus the risks, by increasing the intake of folic acid (several times the recommended daily dose). Your home doctor or specialist may recommend these examinations after thorough review and evaluation of your patient history, but if there are no known risk factors, it is not advisable to do so.

Save the Children, in partnership with the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police, marks in Romania International Day of Missing Children through information and awareness-raising activities of students, parents, teachers and public opinion regarding the increased number of voluntary disappearances among children. According to the statistical data provided by the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police, during the period April 30, 2008 - April 15, 2009, 3,084 children were declared missing, of whom over 95% left home on their own initiative.
"As a member of the European Federation for Missing and Sexually Exploited Children - Missing Children Europe, Save the Children joins the other 22 non-governmental organizations from 16 EU countries that organize thematic events and information campaigns regarding the issue of child disappearance. In Romania, the extremely high percentage of children leaving home voluntarily is worrying. Therefore, it is very important to carry out an information campaign on the reasons that cause children to leave home, to raise awareness of the risks they are exposed to and to identify the means of preventing and mitigating the phenomenon, "says Gabriela Alexandrescu, President executive Save the Children Romania.
This year the campaign includes a public debate in which students, parents, teachers from schools and high schools, as well as representatives of authorities and partners will participate - General Inspectorate of Romanian Police, National Authority for the Protection of the Rights of the Child, Ministry of Education, Research and Innovation.
The event takes place on May 25, 2009 (12-14 hours), at the Romanian Peasant Club and has as a starting point a play-forum set on stage by young volunteers of Save the Children. The participants have the opportunity to be actively involved in finding real solutions to everyday problems, which may represent a risk for the escape of children from home: disagreements with parents, desire for adventure, insufficient knowledge of risks, etc.
The campaign is carried out at national level and in Timisoara, Iasi, Suceava, Targu Mures, Dolj, Brasov, Neamt, Vaslui, Hunedoara, Caras Severin, through information activities in schools and high schools, debates, round tables with representatives of institutions and road campaigns. , organized by the branches Save the Children Romania.
95% of the disappearances are voluntary departures
According to the data provided by the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, the total number of disappearances reported in the last year (3,084 cases) is due in proportion to 95% of the voluntary departures of the minors from the home or from the treatment centers, 3 -4% of cases representing accidental disappearances (steals, drowning, accidents) and 1% unexplained disappearances. In 168 cases out of the 3,084 reported, children up to 10 years are involved.
In the same period (April 30, 2008 - April 15, 2009), a number of 3,118 missing children were found, of which 174 were under the age of 10. According to the same sources, on April 15, 2009, there were 354 missing children, against whom the police carry out specific activities in order to find them. Out of this total number of 354 missing children, 80 are up to 10 years old and 68 are not the first to disappear, some of these children having between 7 and 26 voluntary departures.
"If the disappearance among boys predominates in the age group up to 14 years, on the segment 14-18 years the number of girls leaving the family home is even three times greater than the boys. They represent a group with a level of increased vulnerability, there is the risk of being attracted to traffickers networks and forced to prostitute themselves, "said Chief Commissioner Adrian Dumitrescu, Chief of the Follow-up Service, General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police. "Those under the age of 14, have a situation characterized by school absenteeism and family shortcomings and are at risk of getting sued and committing crimes to ensure their existence," continues Chief Commissioner Adrian Dumitrescu. According to the decision of the European Commission, the Romanian authorities will allocate to the disappearances of children the special number 116,000, as all EU member countries are required to do.
Missing Children Europe is the European Federation for Missing and Sexually Exploited Children. As a result of Missing Children Europe's efforts, the European Commission has decided that '116 000' will become the European telephone number for missing children. Around the "International Day of Missing Children" will be announced the takeover of this unique number by Romania.
"It is known that when children are killed after a kidnapping, over 70% of them are killed in 3 hours, and 90% in 24 hours after the disappearance. As a result, immediate intervention of specialized services is indispensable," said Mrs Barroso, Independent Member of the Missing Children Europe Council. "Therefore, the European telephone number for missing children can save lives. There is no possible excuse for not taking all possible measures to make the number operational in all EU Member States."
