Emolium is a very popular bath emulsion. The manufacturer recommends it for children and adults with very dry, irritated and itchy skin. The emulsion is supposed to effectively moisturize and oil the skin and reduce water loss. Its regular use is to affect the softening and elasticity of the epidermis. Additionally, Emolium reduces the feeling of itching and susceptibility to irritation. The cosmetic is hypoallergenic, gently cleanses and moisturizes. It is recommended for children and babies as well as for adults with sensitive skin.

Composition

  • Mineral oil - mineral oil, also known as paraffin oil, chemically similar to petroleum jelly, odorless, colorless,
  • Isopropyl palmitate - emollient, thickener
  • Caprylic / capric triglyceride - greasy emollient
  • PEG-40 - i.e. poly (ethylene oxide), polyethylene glycol, acts as a solvent. Unfortunately, it does not enjoy good fame, because its production uses poisonous gas (ethyleneoxide), which can get into the cosmetic. Some sources indicate that peg damages cells.
  • Sorbitan-peroleate - emollient, emulsifier, surfactant
  • c12-13 pareth-3 - surfactant, emulsifier, enabling the formation of emulsions
  • butyrosperman parkii - shea butter with a high content of valuable fats, rich in allantoin, vitamin E, A, has a light protective filter.
  • macadamia ternifolia oil - macadamia seed oil, used to care for dry, irritated skin
  • zea mays oil - maize with high linoleic acid content.
  • persea gratissima oil - Avocado oil, the most valuable cosmetic oil, contains seven vitamins.
  • phenethyl alcohol - phenylethyl alcohol - moisturizes and possesses bacteriostatic properties
  • caprylyl glycol - caprylic glycol,
  • peg-8 - like polyethylene oxide above
  • tocopherol - vitamin E, has antioxidant effect, ensures the durability of the cosmetic and allows its use after a few months after production.
  • ascorbyl palmitate - Ascorbyl palmitate, a soluble form of vitamin C, food antioxidant
  • ascorbic acid - vitamin C,
  • citric acid - citric acid.

Emolium bath oil is available in a 200 ml bottle. The manufacturer attached a measuring cap so that the preparation can be dosed precisely.

How does the composition look like? In general, a plus. There are at least a few very good ingredients: maize, macadamia seed oil, shea butter, vitamin E. Mineral oil is in the first place, but this is typical of cosmetics for skin with AD. However, there is also something that raises controversy: PEG substances, which in some sources are presented in a bad light. Fortunately, the product is free from preservatives.

The product has a positive opinion of the Children's Health Center.

Price around 20 zlotys.

Birds riddles for kids

Educate so that children do not lie

Older children use lies in a more elaborate way than younger children and, surely, more than once they manage to deceive us by telling us that they have done their homework so that they can go out to play or watch television.

Thanks to the lie they obtain a benefit that being honest they would not get. The idea is to make them understand, as soon as possible, that going with the truth ahead is always advantageous, since sooner or later the lie has consequences against himself.

They may fool us once or twice, but no more, because eventually they will fall victim to our continuous suspicion. Perhaps rewarding their recognition of reality will help them not to resort to lying in the future. Already at school age, it seems essential to promote honesty and tell the truth Although it costs us, because many times others pay the price of our lies and, in the long run, it ends up having an impact on us and affecting us more than if we had told the truth.

Children often lie because of social pressure, to stand out from their peers, or to avoid an uncomfortable situation or punishment, so we must let them know why they should not do so. They must be made to understand that the easy thing is not always the solution, if the child recognizes his mischief and asks for forgiveness, there is no judge who does not have mercy, due to the nobility and humility that this decision implies.

I always tell them the well-known and useful story of Peter and the Wolf, who lied so many times to play a joke on the other shepherds, that he ended up getting nobody to believe him at the decisive moment when he needed the help of others. Now my oldest son tells the little ones so they don't lie and tells them 'we all make mistakes sometime and we have to tell the truth' because once we create a bad reputation, it doesn't matter what we do to avoid it. Known to all is the story of Pinocchio, whose nose grows more and more when he tells a new lie.

It is very useful to teach children the consequences of a lie, since one lie calls out to another until it becomes a gigantic ball, difficult to untangle. Let us also try not to use lies, because lying in children is sometimes a behavior learned from adults who use it mainly to hide something normally, such as saying that you have been late because your car has broken down. When your child really knows that you are late. Do not look for him to be an accessory to a false alibi or to your little lies, no matter how innocent they may be.

Claustrophobia in children. When our children feel a phobia of small spaces

The snail with an umbrella. Children's poem about respecting differences

The snail with an umbrella. Children's poem about respecting differences

We invite you to read this poem about respect for differences: The snail with a parasol. A short poem that teaches children that we are not all the same and that differences between some do not make someone better or worse.

Children often understand a concept better through stories or poems than through a sermon that we can throw at them. Therefore, it is more effective for them to learn what respect for differences means through a beautiful poem like this, they will understand it perfectly with a simple example.

A snail with an umbrella

he walks through my garden,

I laugh funny

and when I see him, my cat squints.

"But snail" -I speak-

Where are you going with the umbrella?

You always sunbathe

along the roads and banks.

If you always take out the horns

and you enjoy the sun ...

"I am not like the others"

-the snail answers me-

I always look for the shadow

and the coolness near the river,

Because I don't like sooool!

I catch a cold in the heat.

But I have instantly fallen

that I don't like the cold.

We are not all the same

Snail! I'm not laughing anymore.

Researchers at Georg-August University in Guttingen, Germany, have shown that sperm made in the laboratory of embryonic cells can be used in conception. This finding, currently being done on mice, could help couples who cannot have children in the future, especially because of male infertility.

Researchers at Georg-August University in Guttingen, Germany, have shown that sperm made in the laboratory of embryonic cells can be used in conception. This finding, currently being done on mice, could help couples who cannot have children in the future, especially because of male infertility.
The team of researchers, led by professor Karim Nayernia from Georg-August University, managed to produce 7 chicks, of which six lived to maturity. The researchers collected cells from a one-day-old embryo, which they later raised in the laboratory. In this experiment they used a special sorting tool, managing to isolate a few cells that started to develop like sperm.

Adult cells of sperm composition were then injected into female eggs. They grew and were subsequently successfully transplanted to a female.
"We managed to produce a new organism for the first time using artificially produced sperm. The conclusions of this experiment will help to understand how sperm is produced and the mechanisms that prevent sperm production in some men. In this way, we will be able to successfully treat male infertility." , said Prof. Nayernia. This study was recently published in the UK.
In the future, the researchers hope that men with infertility problems can benefit from this technique by which testicular biopsy cells will be harvested and subsequently multiplied in the laboratory and transplanted in place.
