Live the trends! or Keep up with the sophisticated world of fashion!
P&G Beauty Club has recreated the magical atmosphere of the fashion podiums in Paris, Milan and New York as part of the "Living the trends" event, presenting trends in clothing, hairstyles and makeup for the coming season.
The third edition of the P&G Beauty Club surprised the newest and most inspired formulas of success in fashion design, hairstyle and makeup, brought together in four global trends, presented by famous names in the Romanian beauty industry. The four trends identified by P&G Beauty specialists - Romantic Military, Couture Retro Paris, Warhol's Mosaic and Female Feminine - were brought under the spotlight by Ovidiu Buta - Fashion Editor, Roxana Oprea - Wella Specialist, Ana-Maria Gorgonetu - Make-up Max Factor artist and designers Maria Hohan, Irina Marinescu, Ana Maria Lungu and Stefan Pelger.
Autumn and winter 2005/2006 I propose a direct contrast to the tendencies of the last seasons, which have been under the sign of femininity. This time it is only about power and independence. A delicate femininity was added to the delicate femininity, an undeniable masculinity. On the podiums of presentation the femininity was accompanied by a more pronounced sexuality, giving a general sense of new, independent, experimental fashion.
Express your style and strong personality, be independent, be trendy, highlight the volume of the hairstyle, beautifully shaded eyes and pale and undefined skin that gives you a sexy look. Live in the spirit of trends to keep up with the sophisticated world of fashion!
Romantic Military Trend
This trend, reflected by the clothing outfits presented during the event by Maria Hohan, combines fairy-tale romance with harsh accents reminiscent of communism, proposing a sober style, firm-looking skirts and simple assorted materials. Black is the basic color, combined with gray, navy blue or the glow of communist red. Few jewelry are displayed. The pods are present in the form of buttons and buckles, pearl rosettes and occasionally braids.
The key messages are "power" and "control", attributes highlighted and high hairstyle, type "ponytail" or classic coke, with a glossy appearance. To create these hairstyles, P&G Beauty specialists recommend using Wellaflex styling products.
The Eastern European influences in this trend are also reflected by the "makeup without makeup", which promotes pale, natural shades, effects that can be obtained with the help of the Max Factor Color Adapt foundation.
Trendul Couture Retro Paris
The outfits of Ana-Maria Lungu illustrated the most feminine of the autumn / winter 2005 trends, inspired by the couture era. The look is extremely elegant, but at the same time has a note of severity like Alfred Hitchcock. The materials are very luxurious, predominating rigid and bulky cuts, which convey a message of independence.
The volume effect is also resumed in the case of "Top Volume" hairstyles - rich, but rigid, with little movement, easy to achieve with the products from the Wellaflex Ultra Strong Hold and Extra Strong Hold range.
The makeup promotes the natural color of the skin, emphasizing the "natural blush" by applying on the cheeks the satin blush cheeks from Max Factor.
Warhol's Muza Trend
The inspiration for this trend is Edie Sedgwick, Andy Warhol's muse. The outfits proposed by Irina Marinescu delighted with the boyish accents and the elegant elegance specific to the urban clothing.
Hairstyles fully express radiant health and casual lightness. The hair is smooth and rich, and the shape is given by large, subtle loops, starting from the middle towards the ends of the suites. The effect can be achieved with the Pantene Pro V Perfect Curls shaping foam or Wellaflex Curls & Waves products.
The makeup is reminiscent of Edie Sedgick again, due to her pale pink lipstick, a defining element of her style.
The same eclectic style can now be recreated using the Max Factor Silk Gloss lip gloss. The pale pink shade of lipstick is always matched with false, black, long and perfect skin.
Male Female Trend
The outfits presented by Stefan Pelger illustrated the sexiest of all trends. Much emphasis is placed on androgyny, but combined with strong femininity. Prints are not used very much, most of the outfits are monotonous, the emphasis being on energetic cuts and luxury materials.
The hair, "long & free" gives a feminine gender and sober masculinity, which invades the podium. It is the most easy hairstyle of all the trends.
The eyes are a key element of this season, the liquid eyelid cough returning to strength. Black, delicate lines are drawn on the upper and lower eyelids, for an effect of feline sexuality and to reflect the general feeling of power and independence. Lash Lift Mascara from Max Factor is recommended to add extra volume to the eyelashes.
Salmonellosis is normally transmitted through food contaminated by Salmonella, and can cause a clinical picture of severe diarrhea, vomiting and high fever. However, it is a preventable disease.
We give you some tips to avoid contagion of salmonellosis and we also explain what its treatment consists of if your child has been infected.
The transmission of salmonella is carried out by consumption of contaminated food of animal origin, mainly birds, eggs, cattle and pigs or, more rarely, from person to person, especially in day care centers and hospitals (in the case of a case detected in day care, must be communicated in the nursery so that isolation measures are taken). It predominates in the summer and autumn months.
But how can it be prevented ?:
1. Cook food well. These bacteria are most commonly found in animal products and can be killed by the heat of cooking or baking. Heating in the microwave is not a reliable method of killing bacteria.
2. Prevent your child from eating any raw meat or undercooked eggs, and be extremely careful with foods such as Caesar salad, tiramisu, homemade ice cream, mayonnaise, frostings, cookie dough ... they can take raw egg. Salmonella Bacteria can contaminate even intact and disinfected eggs. Cook them well and avoid serving them poached.
3. Clean cooking surfaces regularly. Salmonellosis can also spread through cross contamination, so when you are preparing meals, keep raw meats away from cooked and ready-to-eat foods. Wash your hands, cutting boards, counters, and knives thoroughly after handling raw foods.
4. Avoid keeping reptiles as pets (turtles, iguanas ..)especially if you have very young children. If you have them, wash your hands very well every time you handle these types of animals.
5. Wash your hands very well. Teach children to wash their hands, especially after using the bathroom and before handling food in any way.
6. Keep food refrigerated. Do not leave cooked food for more than 2 hours without refrigeration (1 hour on a hot day). Also, keep your refrigerator set below 40 ° F (4.4 ° C).
If your child has salmonellosis and a healthy immune system, the doctor can allow the infection to pass without giving any medication. But if your child has a fever, headache, or bloody diarrhea, call the doctor to rule out any other problems.
If your child is infected and has a fever, you may want to give acetaminophen to lower his temperature and relieve cramps. As with any infection that causes diarrhea, it is important to give your child plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration.

Women with reproductive tract problems are often advised to adopt a diet that stabilizes their hormonal functions, lowers their FSH levels, and increases their chances of becoming pregnant.
Although many women try to give up processed foods, sugar and fats and eat healthy, they do not see much difference.
It is already known that fatty cells have a great influence on fertility (very large or very small amounts of fat lead to cases of infertility). It is important to know how it influences the way we feed our reproductive health.
In the Chinese tradition, food is considered the energy source of the body.
Each food gives a different amount of energy. Spicy foods are Yang and yin are sweet. Some foods help to form blood, others allow normal body temperature maintenance.
The tastes - sweet, sour, bitter, peppery, salty - have certain effects on the body when mixed. If one of these tastes is predominant then it can create an imbalance in the body; this idea is accepted even by medicine. In Chinese culture, salted foods are recommended for the kidneys, but too much salt negatively influences blood circulation.
In European medicine, the high amount of salt causes water retention by the body, kidney disease and blood circulation.
In China, food is not just an accumulation of calories but also an ability of the body to meet the body's needs for vitamins, proteins and energy. When there is an imbalance in the body of an individual, the substance content in the food consumed properly contributes to its restoration and elimination of excesses in the system. In accordance with Chinese philosophy, shen (the kidneys and spirit) governs the reproductive system.
If you have problems with the reproductive system and you cannot get pregnant then the explanation is a deficiency of the energy conferred by the shen. Symptoms of kidney disease are back pain, weak legs, mucous drying, heavy sweating, cold sores, irregular menstruation, heavy urination.
Menopause exacerbates these symptoms. Oriental medicine suggests a herbal treatment to increase shen energy and recommend a diet to nourish the kidneys. It involves the consumption of nuts, barley, soy, wheat, pasta, boiled meat.
Shen is the energy of the two kidneys, Yin and Yang. A patient with a Yin deficiency should avoid exertion, too much heat, and peppery foods. A woman with Yang kidney problems should not exaggerate in consuming cold drinks because they will cause the body's temperature to drop, however, with a heat deficit. She should eat as many boiled and raw vegetables as possible.
The purpose of each treatment is to restore balance in the body. Here are some recommendations for women trying to get pregnant and fail.
Consume foods based on alkaline substances and not acids
Many contemporary studies have shown that by consuming foods such as fruits, vegetables and cereals, the reproductive system will reach a pH level that will allow a baby to conceive.
Foods rich in acids (meat, dairy, citrus) have negative effects on the cervical mucosa that requires an alkaline environment to allow sperm to fertilize the egg.
Saliva has an alkaline composition and therefore it is recommended not to drink water during the meal. The food is healthy digested with the help of body enzymes. There is no need for a meat-free diet, but it is recommended that the basis of the food is the vegetables. The vitamins they contain help to form the blood vessels in the uterus and reduce the risk of spontaneous abortions.
Eat fish and vegetables
Fatty acids are substances needed by every cell in the body. They contribute to ovulation, especially in the process of egg expulsion. Foods rich in fatty acids are fish, fish oil, melons, eggs, walnuts, broccoli, beets, potatoes, cabbage, gulp.
Tips for proper nutrition
Be careful about how vegetables are stored
If exposed to heat or light, the fatty acids they contain can become toxic and affect the reproductive system. Foods that are not recommended and which contain these dangerous acids are margarine, fatty meat, hydrogenated vegetable oils. Protect your body from these chemicals.
Store the oils in a cool, dry place and use them only for a few months. Another acid, Omega-3, is found in fish oil. This substance is required for the regulation of cholesterol, the coagulation coefficient of blood and the penetration of blood into tissues.
Omega-3 helps the immune system by reducing the number of white blood cells that in some cases attack the embryo. Be careful about the types of fish you eat, their meat may contain mercury or other toxic substances.
Eat organic foods
Organic food ensures a hormonal balance; it is not recommended to consume processed meat (fast-food) because it contains synthetic substances that have negative effects on the endocrine system.
Chinese medicine offers an additional motivation for choosing organic foods: they retain the essence of energy. It is easy to do this if we think about the flavor of the fruits we collect from the tree and those we buy from the supermarket. The processing of the food causes the loss of its quality.
White bread and "refined" foods contain much less nutrients after they are modified. The fruits undergoing treatment contain a higher amount of sugar, which causes disorders of the kidney functions. Frozen foods are a danger to the body if they are then thawed, heated and consumed. Preservatives provide greater resistance to food but are toxic to the body.
Improving the diet by increasing the consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables, meat rich in protein and low hormone content is the decisive step in regulating the functions of the reproductive system. The Asian diet consists of fruits, vegetables, rice and small quantities of meat.
It is important not only to choose the food but also the way we prepare it. Chinese cuisine is characterized by chopping vegetables and cutting into small pieces of meat. Asians consider that by cutting, food gives more energy. They hesitate to boil or fry them a lot, considering that they taste better and are healthier if consumed as naturally as possible. Microwave heating affects the structure of the food and decreases the energy potential. Baking in the oven is considered the healthiest way to prepare food.
Consume a larger quantity of cabbage, broccoli and cauliflower. Cruciferous plants contain substances that moderate the secretion of some types of estrogen. Excessive concentration of these types of estrogen contributes to the occurrence of cancer, breast pain, fattening, decreased libido. Eating those vegetables helps the body maintain its estrogen levels at the right level.
Consume foods rich in vitamins, iron, folic acid. Vitamins and minerals are important for the reproductive system because they contribute to increased fertility and normal development of the fetus.
Products that you must include daily in your diet
Bee honey helps to tone and regenerate the body. General medicine specialists have conducted various studies that showed that women who ate honey bee had no problems with menstruation. The pollen with which the bees are fed is rich in vitamins, minerals, nucleic acids and hormones and confers honey beneficial effects on the immune system.
Honey can be considered a medicine for infertility due to its rich content in acids, vitamins and enzymes.
Blue-green algae are plants that contain chlorophyll, amino acids, minerals and vitamins. Chlorella is a freshwater algae and spirulina develops in salt water. These two plants contain substances that help regulate endocrine secretions, improve immune and nervous systems, tone internal organs and filter blood.
Wheat helps to tone the body and has healing action. It contributes to the improvement of immunity and restores hormonal balance. There are other cereals that have these characteristics.
Vitamin B6 acts on metabolism and regulates estrogen secretion through the production of progesterone. Experiments in US hospitals have shown that women suffering from various syndromes have been healed by taking vitamin B6 daily. After only three months of treatment, they regained their health.
Folic acid is very important in the cell division. It must be consumed both before the baby is conceived and during pregnancy. If you face the problem of abnormal cell division then you need to consume as many foods rich in folic acid - oranges, new potatoes.
Eliminate alcohol, nicotine and caffeine from consumption. These substances are harmful to the body and can cause death if you have problems with your heart and blood circulation. Nicotine content is ten times more concentrated in vaginal secretion than in plasma. Nicotine ages the ovaries and contributes to infertility. Alcohol is a danger to the liver and prevents cell regeneration. Women who consume alcohol during in vitro fertilization have a 50% chance of success.
Black tea does not create problems as big as coffee because it contains less than 20% caffeine. Coffee generates blood vessel constriction while the tea dilates. Green tea has the quality of antioxidant, coffee does not. If you want to wake up easier in the morning drink green tea.
Avoid drugs and excessive drug use. Anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen can block the synthesis of different substances and inhibit ovulation. If the cervical mucus has a viscous composition then you should avoid decongestants, anhistamines and excess vitamin C. You can take medications that fluidize the mucus secretion and avoid the use of lubricants.
Avoid stress, too little sleep, exaggerated effort and any other activities that damage the immune system. In general, you must take care that your body develops healthy and strong; This way you will have an easy pregnancy and give birth to a healthy baby.
Poor rest, stress and bad food causes the body to make efforts to stay healthy and not to ensure the proper development of the fetus. Live healthy before giving birth to your child and make sure he is growing as healthy.
In the case of men who have problems with fertility, the same diets should be adopted. They should avoid the consumption of fats, hydrogenated oils, excess drugs, alcohol and tobacco. The increased consumption of vegetables and fruits rich in vitamins C, E and B12, beta-carotene, folic acid and zinc, ensures the production of sperm and testosterone secretion. Amino acids also help increase fertility.
Food is very important in the normal development of an individual. Pregnant women should carefully monitor their daily menu and the amount of vitamins and minerals it contains.

Early in my pregnancy, I began to have contractions and dilate, so I was put on bedrest in my 33rd week. I wasn't strict about it; I just stopped going into the office and started working from home. With a 2-year-old at home, strict bedrest is not an option. But it did help slow me down.
Closer to my due date, I had the opposite problem – I needed to get the baby out; she was getting too big and her heart rate kept slowing down. So my doctor stripped the membranes twice during office visits to try to get things going. She used her hand to separate the uterus from whatever it's attached to. It hurt, but was more uncomfortable than painful. I really wanted to avoid an induction, but the doctor had me schedule one ahead of time in case I didn't go into labor naturally.
Going into labor
I went into labor on a Friday night, the day after my doctor stripped the membranes a second time. I woke up from a sound sleep feeling really nauseated. I got up to watch TV and drink some fizzy water, and around midnight, my back started hurting. Ten minutes later the pain came back, and again ten minutes after that. My water broke, but there wasn't a lot of water, so I wasn't sure. Then the pain started coming every five minutes, so I woke my husband up. We called a neighbor to come over to stay with Bella, our toddler, then went straight to the hospital. By the time we got to the parking lot, I was pushing. My husband was telling me not to.
Managing the birth
The entire time I was walking – to the car or into the hospital – I was concentrating on breathing. Breathing was the only thing that helped; it was the only pain management strategy I had time to use.
When we got into the hospital, I kept saying, "I want the epidural." Finally a nurse grabbed my face, made me open my eyes, and said: "Gina, the doctor is holding the baby's head." When I was pushing, the doctor insisted that I touch the head to prove that it was out. That freaked me out; I didn't want to touch it, but I did anyway.
Sofia was born at 1:46 a.m., about ten minutes after I got to the hospital, and an hour after I went into labor. It was kind of scary, it was so fast. They immediately handed her to me all covered with stuff. My husband cut the cord. It was around her neck when she came out, so they cut it right away, but then he cut it off closer to her stomach later. I tore a little along the same line where I tore during my first birth. I only needed about five stitches.
I was a little concerned because it took her a little while to cry, a couple of scary minutes. Because I didn't have time to take antibiotics for my strep B, the doctors were concerned that the baby had been exposed the virus. They freaked me out a little bit, the way they were talking about it. They kept taking blood from her because initially she had a high white blood cell count, which could indicate infection. She was getting really badly bruised from all the blood they were taking. But the white blood cell levels went down by the second day.
Bonding with Sofia
It's hard to describe what the bonding has been like. I was very drawn to Sofia from the beginning and wanted to sit and hold her, stare at her. I had a hard time setting her down. I didn't want her to go to the nursery. She didn't sleep; she just ate constantly.
If I were going to do it again, I would do it this way, drug free. It was such a different experience without medication; the baby did so much better. At my first birth, my hospital offered lots of drugs, and in the state I was in, I accepted them all. I think the drugs impacted my firstborn's alertness and her ability to nurse for the first few days. I preferred not having drugs this time. I never thought I would say that.
