How to recognize the signs of a false job?

Before the end of their pregnancy, expectant mothers often experience more or less intense contractions. This may be a false job. But it is not necessarily clear to make a clear distinction between false work and real contractions that announce the imminent arrival of baby. There are signs that make a difference.

What exactly is a false job?

  • False work in late pregnancy results in regular contractions more or less intense. The pain is mainly in the lower abdomen and extends to the back. However, these contractions do not announce the arrival of baby. It is for this reason that we speak of false work.
  • These various symptoms generally disappear within a few hours after taking an antispasmodic administered by a health professional. In the meantime, it is strongly recommended that the mother-to-be breathe deeply and adopt the position that will allow her to bear the best possible pain (lying, standing, leaning against a piece of furniture, sitting on a pregnancy balloon ...).
  • Be aware, moreover, that false work usually takes place just days before the arrival of baby.

First sign of a false job: the cervix remains closed

  • If you experience severe contractions at the end of your pregnancy when you are not quite finished, your gynecologist or midwife will do a quick review to determine whether or not the work has started. The most significant sign of a false job is the cervix. If it is not dilated and if it is still positioned back, baby will still be a little desire!

A false job is distinguished by the nature of contractions felt

  • It is often very difficult to clearly distinguish the signs of a false job, especially if it is a first pregnancy that offers no point of comparison. To be clear, you have to pay attention to the nature of the contractions. If they are characterized by a sharp pain but relatively regular, it is undoubtedly a false job. If, on the contrary, they evolve and become more and more close together, longer and more painful, they probably announce imminent childbirth.

To recognize a false job, pay attention to how you feel

  • Shortly before the arrival of baby, your body makes the last transformations necessary to welcome your little one of baby. This one progresses in the basin in order to facilitate the expulsion. Partially freeing your lungs and stomach, you feel more comfortable breathing and your digestion improves greatly. In addition, dilation of the cervix is accompanied by brown losses. This is the mucous plug that drains before delivery. If you do not feel any of these symptoms, your contractions certainly reflect a false job.

Head lice: How to treat

Choosing a baby bath does not seem to be such a hard decision. They are found everywhere, in a lot of models and for all budgets. However, even with such a rich offer, choosing the right fit for your little one can be a tough decision, especially since it is used a few days after birth and should ensure its safety and comfort, but it will be yours too. enough practice for the bath to run as smoothly as possible.

Baby frames are available on the market in different sizes. Some are made so that even more children can enter the tub simultaneously (if you have twins or triplets). Others are made for use in children up to the ages or are made to order to fit the storage or mounting space in the bathroom of the home.
In addition, the fall should be high enough for the baby to sit securely in it when growing, but also because it should not be filled to the brim. The volume of water in a tub must be at most 65% of the capacity, so it must be high enough, so that the water is sufficient in the tub to wash the baby properly.

Choosing the material from which the fall is made is very important and depends on several factors: how often you use it, durability, maintenance and budget.
Plastic ones are the most bought and used by parents. Besides the fact that I do not predispose the child to serious injuries, like those made of marble or glass, it is also easy to transport and move from one place to another.
The pretentious parents choose for babies fallen out of wood or marble. They are special and elegant, but they can prove dangerous for his safety and cost a lot.

Rubber mounts

Secure on the edge and bottom of the tub that you choose there is attached a rubber material, which prevents the child from slipping during washing. In addition, the baby also feels more comfortable when he is well in the fall and does not lose weight and loses his balance or when he does not slip the handle when he reaches the edge. Some of them are also equipped with support for the little boy's head. You can also opt for this option.
The rubber endowment of the tubing in certain places - on the edges, on the bottom, where the head is held - also has the role of protecting the little one from the sharp edges with which it is endowed with the fabrication. Make sure that there are no sharp edges on the surface, in which to crash.

Extra features and functions

The simplest frames are plastic ones, in one color, without any other features. But there are variants that are equipped with accessories designed to provide even more comfort, but especially the safety of the child during bathing.
You can opt for the tub with thermometer attached, which tells you the exact temperature of the water and helps you match it to an ideal value for your little one.
Other tubs are also marked with water level indicators, which helps you figure out how much to fill the tub.
There are tubs that are built, even from the factory, with special storage or holding spaces for body care products used during baby washing - shampoo, sponge, soap, etc. These are very useful because they help you get all the necessary products and not have to leave the unattended baby in the tub.
Bath toys are essential for babies. Some falls already come accessorised with such products, which are trapped by the tub, so that the little one can not throw them out or put them in the mouth and accidentally swallow them, drowning them. This equipment is not absolutely necessary. You can also put toys in the tub, without paying extra for this equipment.

Colors and design

The colors and design of the frame are also important. It is advisable to choose frames that are as funny, more colorful and full of drawings, because they are meant for babies and must be as cute as they are.

Girlfriends' guide to rolling over in bed while pregnant

In the last few weeks of gestation, most moms will tell you nothing is comfortable – nothing. It has gotten to the point where clothing is even uncomfortable; I frequently roll my shirts up past my belly and let it all hang out.

Not only are we third-trimester moms uncomfortable during the day our pregnancy pains follow us right to bed. Lying in bed can prove to be just as painful as standing or sitting upright. Resting on your back makes it impossible to breathe, while sleeping on your side makes your hips feel like they are going to tear in two.

So, the only solution is to spend the whole night rolling from one position to another and hopefully getting a few winks in between moments of agony. Unfortunately, this is easier said than done. For anyone who has ever been there, they will tell you one does not merely roll over while largely pregnant.

And for those looking forward to this stage – or those experiencing it and in need of comedic relief – I have put together a few photos to illustrate a step-by-step guide provided by a very insightful mom-to-be on our site Community.

Here is our collaboration:

1. Notice that you are feeling uncomfortable in your back, shoulders, neck, hips, legs, knees, etc.

2. Ignore for six minutes or until all you can think about is the pain.

3. Push blanket down so it isn't thrown off the bed by your belly.

4. Heave yourself up on to your elbows.

5. Bring your heels up and dig them into the mattress.

6. In one swift movement, heave your belly over to the other side.

7. Spend the next four minutes adjusting pillows, blankets, something to tuck under your belly, something to tuck between your knees.

8. Notice that you are feeling uncomfortable in your back, shoulders, neck, hips, legs, knees, etc.

9. Repeat.
